LimePlus VEHICLES

In July 2004, LimePlus took delivery of two M.A.N. 26-410 6x6 wheel drive trucks, built to the on/off road industry standard. Special features include:

• a shortened wheel base to take a 10 cubic metre bin,
• 410hp, 32 forward gears for every situation,
• over-sized tyres for additional ground clearance,
• forward control (cab over) gives the operator excellent visibility in assessing ground conditions.

The spreader bodies have:

• full hydraulics,
• variable belt and spinner speeds,
• side delivery chutes, often used for orchards for blanketing root zones with organic matter eg. recycling husk material for macadamias.

Self Unloading Trailers

The trucks each tow 'self unloading' DOG trailers with a 15 cubic metre capacity, hence our catch-phrase "Supply, Deliver and Spread".

The self unloading trailers have great advantages:

• the ability to bring the product right to the job site when and where required,
• no need for additional machinery,
• no ground contamination by a stockpile,
• no risk factor with weather and product on the ground,
• the ability to add trace elements (on agronomic advice).

All of these are easily and economically achieved.
